I graduated from Ferris State University in Applied Arts and Sciences in 1994 and worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for 20 years. I was employed at Munson Medical Center when I decided to go back to school to learn Medical Massage Therapy at Blue Heron Academy in Traverse City. After graduating in 1998, I opened Great Lakes Clinical Massage, which eventually employed eight Medical Massage Therapists, including myself. Blue Heron Academy hired me as an instructor for their school and Great Lakes Clinical Massage became home for the Traverse City branch of Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences.
After the birth of my first child, Savannah, I decided I had to make a change to be home more, so I sold my practice in Traverse City and moved to Grand Rapids to teach for Blue Heron Academy. I then was able to finish my degrees in Clinical Nutrition and Herbal Medicine. With the birth of my second child, Sydney, I wanted to stay home even more, so I went back to work as a Respiratory Therapist at Spectrum Health for five years, and slowly began my Medical Massage Therapy practice on the side.
In 2011, I opened MassageXT, and in three short years I was able to quit my job at the hospital. As my network grew, I realized I wanted to serve my patients in a bigger way! I wanted to be a bigger part of their healing process and create a safe place where patients trusted the information being handed to them. I believe in the traditional Western medicine model at its best. I am a Type 1 Diabetic…I would not be alive without the advances of modern medicine. However, there is a lot of “bad medicine” as well. So who do we trust? My vision is 360 Wellness Spa! In 2021, I attained a certification for ACE fitness as a Personal Trainer, adding a layer of fitness to the wellness model. As we moved into the Med Spa arena, I also became certified as a Laser Technician, specializing in removal of unwanted hair, pigment in the skin, and spider veins. Health and Beauty at its best!
I am married to the man of dreams, Dennis, and have two amazing kids, Savannah, 23, and Sydney, 19. In my free time, I am an avid mountain, road and gravel biker and any other thrill-seeking outdoor sports!
I enjoy helping others feel their absolute best! I received my Medical Massage Therapy degree from Blue Heron Academy in 2015. I am goal-oriented, focusing on my client’s muscular pain and/or limited joint active range of motion. I am passionate about helping relieve clients from their restrictions. If you are asking yourself if there is a way to live a more active lifestyle, the answer is YES! I have also been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the past 27 years. Recently, I have received a laser tech certification. This allows me the ability to focus on other areas of wellness, including laser hair removal, pigment reduction, and redness and vein reduction. There is a way to regain life moments through 360 Wellness Spa.
Hi, I’m Grace! I graduated from Douglas J. Aveda Institute as a licensed Esthetician in 2022. I first became interested in Medical Aesthetics when I was a client, myself, for my own dermatology issues. I suffered for years with acne prone skin that was painful and embarrassing. I realized that I could not only help myself but others who are dealing with some of the same issues. Since graduating, I have been employed at a prestigious Dermatology office in downtown Grand Rapids. For the past 2 years, I have been trained in facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, extractions and all aspects of aesthetic lasers including laser hair removal. As I transition to 360 Wellness Spa, I am highly qualified to perform facials, chemical peels, laser treatment services, recommendations for medical skin care products offered at 360 Wellness, as well as, brow and lash tinting!
I know the blessing of having skin care needs resolved, and I really enjoy helping others feel beautiful about themselves. I value the personal relationship I develop with my clients, and I am excited to get to know you and to help you achieve your skincare goals!
I graduated from Ferris State University in 1991 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and have been working since then in various nursing roles. I then decided to continue my education, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2000. I have worked both full and part-time while raising two boys with my husband, Joe, in Rockford, MI. In 2011, I took the opportunity to join a plastic surgery office, where I received a certification to inject both Botox and Dysport. I furthered my knowledge base by including injection of dermal fillers, and continued in this position for over six years! I am ready to once again assist patients to look and feel like their most natural and beautiful selves, and will tailor the treatments to meet those individual needs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, exploring nature. We like to hike, kayak, and four wheel in northern Michigan.
I graduated from Douglas j Aveda in April of 2021, throughout school I had a vision of what my future would look like in this industry, and it was always in medical aesthetics. I have been passionate about aesthetics since I was in early high school, and very quickly I knew exactly what I wanted my career to be. Coming from a family associated with the medical industry as well as the massage industry, medical aesthetics was something that just felt right. I started my career working at a spray tanning salon, where I was trained and certified in lash lifting, brow laminations, teeth whitening and spray tanning. I then moved on to another salon where I became the lead makeup artist, and performed a variety of facials, eyebrow tinting, waxing, laminations, and lash lifts! Building connections with my clients and seeing how happy and confident they are after each appointment fuels my love and passion for this industry.
